U-19 women secure two gold medals
In the U-19 women's competition, India claimed two gold and six silver medals, showcasing the depth of the country's emerging boxing talent.
Chandrika Bhoresh Pujari (51kg) produced a dominant display to defeat Uzbekistan's Nazokat Mardonova by a unanimous 5:0 decision and secure the gold medal.
Prachi also finished on top of the podium after registering a convincing victory over Indonesia's Dira Artika in the final.
India's remaining finalists in the U-19 category fought spirited contests but settled for silver medals, adding significantly to the team's overall tally.
Nisha leads U-23 campaign with gold
India continued its strong run in the U-23 women's competition, finishing with one gold, four silver and four bronze medals.
Nisha (54kg) led the charge by defeating Japan's Koiin Kokufu in a commanding 5:0 victory to claim the gold medal.
Nikita Chand (60kg), Kajal (65kg) and Muskan (75kg) delivered determined performances in their respective finals but had to settle for silver after facing strong opponents from Uzbekistan.
The four bronze medals came through semifinal finishes, underlining India's consistency across multiple weight divisions.
