Bengaluru, July 11, 2026: Shivamogga Yodhas booked their place in the final of the DACCS Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 with a commanding four-wicket victory over Coastal Kings Mangaluru on Saturday. The Yodhas will now face Bengaluru Blasters in the title clash after producing an impressive all-round performance in the second semifinal.

Dhanush Gowda was the standout performer with the ball, claiming 4 for 21, while Shreesha Achar and Naveen MG chipped in with two wickets apiece to restrict Coastal Kings Mangaluru to 143/8. In reply, a composed unbeaten 55 from Aneesh KV and a crucial 31 from Sujay Sateri guided Shivamogga Yodhas to 144/6 in 18.4 overs.

Dhanush Gowda Leads Clinical Bowling Display

After Coastal Kings elected to bat, the innings got off to a steady start before Dhanush Gowda struck to dismiss Pavan Prajwal (8 off 11), ending the opening partnership worth 35 runs.

Opener Nikin Jose continued to anchor the innings with a brisk 34 off 25 balls before Shreesha Achar cleaned him up in the eighth over. Karun Nair then held the innings together with a well-crafted 41 off 31 deliveries, hitting one four and three sixes.

Nair added 39 runs alongside Shreyas Gopal (13 off 16) to stabilise the innings, but Achar removed Gopal to leave the batting side under pressure.

At 109/4 after 15 overs, Coastal Kings looked set for a strong finish. However, Dhanush Gowda returned to produce a match-defining spell, dismissing Karun Nair, Suraj Ahuja (9 off 10) and Rajvir Wadhwa (9 off 5) as the Kings slipped to 123/8 in the 18th over.

Prithviraj Shekhawat's late unbeaten 12 off 10 deliveries helped Coastal Kings finish on a competitive 143/8.

Aneesh KV Anchors Successful Chase

Shivamogga Yodhas suffered early setbacks during the chase as Santokh Singh struck twice, removing Luvnith Sisodia (14 off 13) and Tushar Singh (14 off 10). Prithviraj then dismissed Naveen MG, reducing the Yodhas to 41/3 inside the opening five overs.

Aneesh KV steadied the innings with a calm and mature knock, rotating the strike before accelerating when required. He first shared a 31-run partnership with Harshil Dharmani (13 off 14), although Prithviraj claimed another wicket by dismissing Dharmani in the 10th over.

Sujay Sateri then joined Aneesh at the crease and the pair effectively sealed the contest with a superb 70-run partnership off just 47 balls. Aneesh reached his half-century in 31 deliveries before remaining unbeaten on 55 from 39 balls to guide Shivamogga Yodhas home with eight balls to spare.

Shivamogga Yodhas to Face Bengaluru Blasters in Final

The victory sends Shivamogga Yodhas into the final of the DACCS Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20, where they will take on Bengaluru Blasters in what promises to be an exciting championship clash.
