Taipei, July 10, 2026: India's Pukhraj Singh Gill continued his impressive run on the Asian Development Tour with a tied-19th finish at the Ever Glory ADT Open, keeping himself firmly on course for qualification to the 2027 Asian Tour.

The Ludhiana golfer, who won the AM Green India Golf Premier League (IGPL) Order of Merit in 2025, carded three successive rounds of three-under 69 to finish with a total of nine-under 204 at the Dong Hua Elite Golf Club in Taipei.

Representing Honer Homes Gurugram in the AM Green IGPL, Gill's consistent performance lifted him to sixth place in the Asian Development Tour Order of Merit. The top 10 players at the end of the season earn promotion to the 2027 Asian Tour, leaving the Indian well placed to achieve his goal.

Gill is following a proven pathway, with fellow AM Green IGPL golfer Karandeep Kochhar having secured his Asian Tour status through the Asian Development Tour last season.

Gill Maintains Momentum with Consistent Golf

Gill's rounds of 69, 69 and 69 showcased remarkable consistency throughout the weather-affected tournament. His steady play ensured another valuable finish in a competitive international field, adding crucial points to his Order of Merit campaign.

Among the other Indian golfers, Khalin Joshi enjoyed an even stronger week, finishing tied-12th at 12-under after rounds of 68, 67 and 69. Kartik Singh, meanwhile, missed the 36-hole cut following rounds of 74 and 68.

Nathan Han Wins Weather-Shortened Event

American golfer Nathan Han emerged victorious after defeating the Philippines' Sean Ramos on the first playoff hole to claim the Ever Glory ADT Open title.

The tournament was reduced from 72 holes to 54 after Typhoon Bavi prompted officials to cancel the scheduled final round. Following the completion of Friday's third round, tournament officials immediately conducted a playoff to determine the champion.

Han produced one of the best rounds of the day with a seven-under 65, finishing tied on 16-under alongside Sean Ramos and Korea's Minhyeok Yang. He sealed the victory with a birdie on the opening playoff hole.

Han's final round featured an eagle at the par-five eighth and five birdies, while he also acknowledged the support of his father, who served as his caddie throughout the tournament.

Yang also carded a brilliant seven-under 65 highlighted by nine birdies, but a costly double bogey on the 15th forced him into the playoff. Ramos closed with a composed five-under 67 to earn a share of the lead before finishing runner-up.

Chinese Taipei golfers Shapiyate Mako and Chan Shih-chang shared fourth place at 15-under after rounds of 66 and 68 respectively.

Asian Tour Dream Within Reach

With his latest top-20 finish, Pukhraj Singh Gill has strengthened his position in the Asian Development Tour Order of Merit standings. Sitting sixth with several events remaining, the Indian is well placed to secure one of the coveted top-10 spots that guarantee promotion to the 2027 Asian Tour.
