PIB Fact Check Flags Fake Internship Google Form
NEW DELHI, July 13, 2026: The Government has debunked a fake internship claim circulating on social media that falsely advertises an internship programme for doctors and other professionals under the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
The misleading claim is being shared through a Google Form, allegedly inviting applications for an internship programme approved by the two ministries.
However, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) Fact Check Unit has clarified that the claim is completely false.
No Official Internship Programme Announced
According to the PIB, neither the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises nor the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has issued any official notification or application form for such an internship programme.
The Government has confirmed that the Google Form circulating online is not associated with any official initiative of the two ministries.
Government Advises Public to Stay Alert
The PIB has urged citizens to exercise caution while interacting with links and forms shared on social media or messaging platforms. People have been advised not to click on suspicious links, provide personal information, or submit sensitive details on unverified websites.
The Government has reiterated that official announcements related to recruitment, internships, or public schemes are published only through authorised government portals and verified communication channels.
Verify Information Through Official Sources
Citizens are encouraged to verify the authenticity of any government-related claims before responding or sharing them further. The PIB has advised the public to rely only on official government websites and verified sources for accurate and trustworthy information.
